Start By Listening
To shape the path for Impact 2030, we turned our campus and community members for insight, ideas, and aspirations for the future of the University of Utah.
We received nearly 11,000 responses from a campus-wide survey sent to faculty and staff and saw high attendance at 14 listening sessions with 730 students, faculty and staff participating, as well as 45 alumni and 65 local community members.
We are grateful for all who participated. Their voices played a central role in shaping this strategic plan. Here are a few key takeaways:

HOW WE'RE IMPLEMENTING IMPACT 2030
Across survey responses and listening sessions, we heard a shared commitment to research, student success, and community. These values are woven into the fabric of the university—and they are the foundation of this strategic plan. Our implementation process will be ongoing and iterative, involving regular progress assessments, community feedback and engagement, priority setting, and strategic investments in infrastructure and support.
